Multi-Room Streaming Amplifier
The right Juke for you
The key difference in the units is the power output, with the Juke+ producing nearly 2.5x the wattage. While not needed in all scenarios, this additional power is especially useful when looking to power larger speakers and in particular outdoor speakers that require more juice. Additional benefits of the Juke+ include an audio equalizer for every zone, the ability to wire directly into the Juke via Optical (Television) or RCA, and an antenna for long-range Bluetooth streaming and a more robust Wi-Fi connection if Ethernet isn't possible.
Yes, you certainly can. As long as the Jukes are connected to the same network, all the zones will appear in the same app and give you the ability to stream across all the zones together or separately. If you have a few outdoor speakers / zones and a main living room area, one recommendation would be to use the Juke+ for those areas and then use the base Juke model for powering the bedroom / common areas.
The Jukes are compatible with a wide range of speakers. Any in-wall, in-ceiling, or outdoor speaker that is rated rated at 8 or 4 ohms will work with the Juke amplifier. For the Juke 6 & 8, we recommend speakers with a power handling of 20 to 150 watts, and for the Juke+, we recommend power handling of 50 to 200 watts.
By connecting the Juke amplifier to the local network via Ethernet or Wi-Fi, you then allow all other devices on that network such as phones, tablets, computers to control the device wirelessly without range issues. There is a downloadable app in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, as well as the ability to control via a web application. See our app tab for full details on the wireless functionality offered.
No, there is not! The one time fee to purchase the product is all that is required. We also ocassionally push firmware updates and upgrades to all of our units for free.
