A wired multi-room audio system, commonly referred to as architectural audio, provides many key advantages in comparison to a wireless speaker system, including:

Reliability – Wired speakers transmit sound signals through physical wires, which provide a stable and consistent connection between the audio source and the speakers. In contrast, wireless speakers use Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or other wireless technologies, which can suffer from signal interference, dropouts, and other transmission issues.
